Mjollnir was started in summer of 2004. Originally named "Dethgrind," the band members decided that a new name
("Mjollnir") would suit the band much better than the original title. All members are from the small town
of New Waterford, Nova Scotia, Canada.
The band found their drummer only two days before this website was first published. Now a complete band, Mjollnir
plans on performing onstage, doing medleys for their most favored songs, and throwing in some of their own material as well.
